The Alpacas

Quelvéhin is also home to 'Quelvéhin Alpagas'. These beautiful animals are one of the camelid species, closely related to the llama. They are intelligent, easily trained and are very gentle with children. These inquisitive animals will often approach people who stand and watch them and when fully trained they will eat out of the hand and will also be lead by a halter.

Our small breeding herd of these fascinating animals will surely charm and amuse you and if you are arriving through the summer months you are likely to see the birth of baby cria (baby alpacas).
